Driver Training
Safety is always the club's number-one concern. To provide the
safest and most pleasurable skiing experience, the club requires anyone
wishing to drive a skier to complete our Driver Training Program. This
program emphasizes safe and consistent boat operation while pulling a
skier.
Members are not required to become a driver, but we encourage it
because finding enough drivers can be difficult at times.
For details and requirements, please download and read the
Driver Training Packet listed at left, or visit our Club Documents
section.
Launcher Training
Launchers are volunteers who tow, launch, retrieve, clean and
store the boats for every club function. This elite cadre of highly
motivated individuals is always open for new recruits, especially those
with good towing vehicles and prior boating experience.
In return for their dedication and loyalty, the club extends to
Launchers a number of benefits:
- Private use of the
boats (called Limited Use)
- Ski out-of-turn during Bay Skiing
- Free River Trips
Many launchers take advantage of our Limited Use policy which
allows Launchers to use the club boats for personal use whenever a boat
is available for a low hourly fee.
For Launcher details and requirements, please download and read
the Launcher Training Packet listed at left, or visit our Club Documents
section.
